Queen Charlotte born on the 29 September 1766, at Buckingham place, London.
Queen Charlotte was the eldest and only surviving daugther of King John II and she was very lucky. At the age of 14, she succeeded to the Cypriot throne upon the death of her father in 1456. Her illegitimate half-brother, James challenged her right to the crown. With the support of Egyptians, he forced her to flee the islabnd in 1463 and he was later crowned king.She died childless in Rome.On the 16th July 1806 Rome, Italy.
